Placements24 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a renowned fine dining establishment in Sandton, Gauteng. You will lead all front-of-house operations, supervise staff, ensure exceptional guest service, and drive profitability.

A hands-on leader with deep hospitality knowledge will excel in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong wine and F&B operations expertise, strategic guest relationship skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in restaurant management, preferably fine dining.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision abilities.
• Knowledge of wine, F&B operations, and service etiquette.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, P&L, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service delivery.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage front-of-house staff.
• Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage inventory and costs to optimize profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
• Collaborate with Head Chef on menu and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage reservations and seating flow.
• Monitor sales and profitability and adjust actions as needed.
