Job summary

Old Mutual in Gauteng (Boksburg Office) seeks a sales management leader to oversee a hybrid team of 15-20 Financial Advisers. The role ensures team profitability by managing results, resources and risks within the business plan, and contributes to MANCO leadership.

Responsibilities include strategy execution, relationship management, complex solution selling, performance management, budgeting, and developing people and processes to sustain growth in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• Must be FAIS compliant with a certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent with 120 credits.
• Must have passed RE 5 level 1.
• Preferably 24 months' service as a Financial Adviser.
• Accredited on all PFA products and other optional products.

Responsibilities

• Identify actions to implement the function's strategy and plan; motivate teams to achieve local goals.
• Develop and manage relationship plans for complex accounts and key decision-makers.
• Configure complex product-and-services solutions and negotiate terms within set parameters.
• Build a personal network, obtain market intelligence, and raise visibility of the organization.
• Manage and report on performance of a large, diverse team and drive objectives.
• Oversee an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues (delivery and development).
• Develop internal marketing plans and strengthen external customer relationships.
• Manage key accounts and deliver day-to-day support to customers.
• Develop and implement relationship plans for potential accounts and resolve issues.
• Develop and deliver budget plans with senior guidance.
• Build organizational capability through development programs and coaching.
