About the Role

A premier aquatic center and leisure facility in Bloemfontein is looking for a highly responsible and vigilant Head Lifeguard Supervisor to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons. This leadership position involves overseeing the daily operations of the lifeguard team, implementing and enforcing safety policies, and responding effectively to emergencies. You will be instrumental in training new lifeguards, conducting regular drills, and maintaining the highest standards of aquatic safety. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of lifeguards, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal performance during operating hours.
• Develop, implement, and enforce all facility safety rules, regulations, and emergency action plans.
• Conduct regular in-service training sessions and drills to maintain lifeguard skills and responsiveness.
• Perform lifeguard duties as needed, providing constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
• Respond immediately and effectively to all emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.

Requirements
