About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Head Lifeguard & Aquatics Manager to lead operations at their premier aquatic facility in Centurion . This role is critical for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons by maintaining impeccable safety standards, managing a team of lifeguards, and overseeing the daily operations of the pools and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lifeguard supervision, emergency response, and aquatic programming, along with exceptional leadership and communication abilities. This position requires a hands‑on approach to safety management and a commitment to providing a secure and welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a team of certified lifeguards, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Develop and implement comprehensive emergency action plans and conduct regular drills to ensure team readiness.
• Conduct regular in-service training sessions for lifeguards to maintain certification and skill proficiency.
• Oversee the daily operations of the aquatic facility, including pool maintenance, chemical balancing, and cleanliness.
• Enforce all facility rules and regulations to ensure the safety and security of all patrons.
• Manage the aquatics budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment procurement.

Requirements
