Protea Hotels by Marriott is seeking a Loss Prevention & Security professional for our Cape Town property. The role focuses on patrolling the hotel, monitoring security systems, and ensuring guest safety and smooth operations.

The position requires handling incidents, reporting, and assisting guests and staff during emergencies, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report unsafe conditions.
• Escort unwelcome persons and resolve disturbances.
• Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of security records.
• Respond to accidents, notify EMS when required, and administer first aid/CPR if needed.
