The Vineyard, Oude Werf and Stellenbosch Hotels by Petousis is seeking a Food Service Ambassador to join our Stellenbosch team on a contract, hourly-paid basis. The role covers room service, restaurant and event services, with duties from area preparation to guest seating and service, including upselling to meet targets.

Applicants should have at least two years in a similar role, strong English communication, and a professional appearance. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Food Service Ambassador (Waiter).
• Must be able to work shifts, weekends & public holidays as per roster.
• Good knowledge of food & wine.
• Basic barista skills will be to your advantage.
• Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Willing to help out where need
• Friendly personality and professional appearance.
• Must be customer service orientated.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Micros experience will be required.

Aufgaben

• Work in any food and beverage outlet such as room service, restaurant and conference and events.
• Prepare the area for service.
• Welcome and seat guests, serve guests from start to finish of their dining or conference experience.
• Upsell products and meet targets.
