Job summary

PSG Konsult Ltd. is seeking a Regional Head of Sales for Centurion, Gauteng, a permanent leadership role.

You will head the regional sales portfolio, drive profitable growth, strengthen broker and client relationships, and ensure underwriting discipline while leading a high-performing sales team in line with the company’s strategy and risk appetite. The role requires extensive experience in short-term insurance, FAIS and regulatory compliance, and a willingness to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
• RE5 Regulatory Examination and FAIS-compliant qualification.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in the short-term insurance industry.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales leadership, regional management or business development role.
• Sound understanding of short-term insurance products, underwriting principles and risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including FAIS, POPIA and TCF.
• Own reliable and roadworthy vehicle with a valid license and willingness to travel.
• Leadership, coaching and people development.
• Sales strategy execution and business growth management.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable premium growth and deliver regional sales targets.
• Lead, develop, coach and performance manage regional sales teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients and partners to increase market share and retention.
• Ensure underwriting quality and adherence to risk appetite and governance.
• Monitor regional profitability through loss ratio and portfolio management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, FAIS, POPIA and TCF.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and operations to optimise service.
• Analyse regional performance trends and implement strategic initiatives.
