Job summary

FA News, Gauteng-based, seeks a driven sales professional to grow the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The role focuses on selling personal lines and Commercial lines through direct prospecting and canvassing.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing communication, negotiation and presentation skills to generate new business. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required, with FAIS qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric or NSC completed
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
• Code B driver's license
• 3 years external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA)
• RE5 (depending on DOFA)

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
• Sell personal lines and Commercial lines through prospecting and canvassing for new business.
• Lead generation, cold calling and relationship management to open doors.
• Balance independent work with teamwork, providing and receiving feedback.
