Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail sales or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and drive sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the guidance of management.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Enthusiasm for retail and a desire to learn and grow in a management capacity.
• Familiarity with the Free State retail environment is a plus.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and customer satisfaction.
• Support the sales team in achieving store sales targets and promoting products effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Help manage inventory levels, including receiving stock, merchandising, and minimizing shrinkage.
• Supervise and motivate retail staff, assisting with training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Ensure the store maintains high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and organization.
• Assist in controlling store expenses and upholding company policies and procedures.
• Deputize for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Contribute to creating a positive and productive work environment in the Welkom store.
