Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader seeks a Talent Sourcing & Learning & Development Consultant to recruit for the GBC and drive the Learning & Development agenda. You will coordinate interviews, maintain records, and support employment equity targets.

Responsibilities include managing recruitment processes, stakeholder engagement, MI reporting, onboarding, risk/compliance, and coordinating training programs. A strong HR systems background and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have SA Labour Legislation knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
• Knowledge of HR risk management principles and practices.
• Commercial awareness.
• Able to work independently within guidelines.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: oversee recruitment and selection for all employees per firm processes; support employment equity targets.
• Stakeholder management: build relationships with business leads; advise on candidate selection.
• MI reporting: maintain vacancy status, candidate progression, and recruitment tracker; produce reports.
• On-boarding: capture data, prepare payroll documents, manage letters and contracts.
• Risk & Compliance: complete mandatory compliance training; adhere to Labour legislation and POPIA.
• Learning & Development: manage training budgets, coordinate programs, study assistance, WSP/ATR reporting.
• Additional responsibilities: support HR leadership with projects.
