Job summary

dmg events is seeking a results-driven B2B sales professional in Cape Town to drive exhibition space and sponsorship sales, manage a growing pipeline, and build enduring client relationships across African markets.

You will conduct telephone and face-to-face sales, source new prospects, and maintain accurate CRM records to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the event portfolio’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of clients across multiple mediums.
• Ability to travel within the region as required.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell exhibition space and sponsorship.
• Conduct telephone sales campaigns to lapsed exhibitors and new prospects.
• Face-to-face sales with current, lapsed, and new prospects.
• Source new companies from trade press and competitive events.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and prospects.
• Manage the prospect database and CRM records.
• Achieve individual and event revenue targets.
• Support debt collection process.
