Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a customer service agent to support German- and English-speaking travelers with bookings, rebookings and inquiries. You will respond via phone, email and webchat, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

The role is on-site with 8-hour rotational shifts (Mon–Sun) and a monthly gross salary of R25,000. Benefits include night-shift allowance, subsidised transport, medical aid and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• German and English at C1-C2 level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• International call centre or travel industry experience preferred, 12+ months.

Responsibilities

• Assist international customers via phone, webchat and email.
• Handle holiday bookings, rebookings and cancellations.
• Update customer information and maintain accurate booking records.
• Resolve customer enquiries and proactively address issues.
• Take ownership of the customer experience while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service quality.
