Job summary

Ignite in Cape Town is seeking a German-speaking Travel Customer Advisor to act as the frontline contact for international passengers. You will deliver high-quality support via telephone, live webchat, and email, focusing on bookings, itinerary changes, and cancellations in a fast-paced travel environment.

Fluency in German and English is essential. The role is 40 hours per week, with shifts across Mon–Sun at 19 Hertzog Boulevard, on-site in City of Cape Town.

Your main focus involves taking care of new bookings, itinerary modifications, and cancellations, along with resolving problems proactively in a fast-paced international travel environment.

• Work Experience: 12+ months within global call centers OR the travel/airline industry.

Work Schedule & Location Details

• Total Commitment: 40 hours per week (5 working days, 8 hours daily).
• Roster Pattern: Rotational shifts scheduled across Monday to Sunday.
• Operational Timeframe: Shifts rotated between 09:00 AM and 02:00 AM SAST.
• Workplace: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town (Strictly On-Site).

Compensation & Employee Perks

• Monthly Base Pay: R 20,000.00 per month.
• Late Shift Premium: Additional allowance for shifts extending past 07:00 PM.
• Transportation Support: Subsidized one-way shuttle service (Company covers the subsidy, while the employee pays R315).
