Role OverviewIn the position of German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will act as the primary point of touch for global travelers, delivering top-tier service through phone, webchat, and email interactions. Your daily responsibilities will include managing flight and holiday reservations, adjusting itineraries, handling cancellations, and efficiently resolving traveler issues inside a dynamic global travel framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Support Excellence: Provide outstanding end-to-end assistance across all communication channels.
• Problem Solving & Resolution: Actively listen to customer feedback, handle objections with composure, and provide effective, forward-thinking solutions.
• Itinerary Management: Confirm client information while accurately organizing, updating, and processing flight and vacation bookings.
• Clear & Effective Communication: Explain complex travel guidelines and workflows clearly using fluent German and English.
• Operational Performance: Maintain strong productivity, precision, and speed while navigating intricate customer inquiries.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Background: Completed Grade 12 / Matric qualification at minimum.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent written and verbal communication in both German and English.
• Relevant Experience: At least 12 months in international call center environments OR within airline/travel agency settings.
• Background Vetting: Clean criminal record and clear credit history.
• Core Skills: Active listening, conflict resolution, effective time management, and ability to stay calm under pressure, reinforced by strong emotional intelligence.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (Structured as 5 days per week, 8 hours per day).
• Shift Rotation: Monday through Sunday on a rotational roster.
• Operating Window: Rotational shifts operating between 09:00 AM and 02:00 AM SAST.
• On-Site Location: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town (100% On-Site).

Remuneration & Benefits

• Base Remuneration: R 20,000.00 per month.
• Night Shift Allowance: Extra compensation for operational hours worked after 07:00 PM.
• Commuter Transport Subsidy: Subsidized one-way company transport service (Company pays a portion; employee contribution is R315).
• Medical Benefits (Select One Option):
  • Option A — Medical Aid: Full coverage for the employee only.
  • Option B — Medical Insurance: Coverage for the employee plus up to 2 dependents.
