Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical/Civil/Mining with a geotechnical specialization.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience in mining.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software (Rocscience suite, Slide) and soil/rock mechanics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations and site characterization studies.
• Perform stability analyses for open-pit slopes, underground excavations, and tailings storage facilities.
• Design and recommend ground support systems and reinforcement methods.
• Develop and implement geotechnical monitoring programs to assess ground conditions and performance.
• Provide technical guidance to mine operations and engineering departments.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications for mine infrastructure and operations.
