Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in fundraising and development with a demonstrable track record of success.
• Proven expertise in major gift solicitation, grant writing, and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve annual revenue targets.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Manage the grant application process from research to reporting and relationship management.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to maximize contributions.
• Develop fundraising materials such as proposals, case statements, and impact reports.
• Maintain donor records and manage the donor database for effective communication.
• Collaborate with communications to support integrated marketing and outreach.

About the Role

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with donors, managing grant applications, and leading fundraising campaigns. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to achieve annual revenue targets, encompassing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and public appeals.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with prospective and existing donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Manage the grant application process, from research and proposal writing to reporting and relationship management with grant-making organizations.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors and maximize contributions.
• Develop compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, case statements, and impact reports.
• Maintain accurate donor records and manage the donor database to ensure effective communication and stewardship.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop integrated marketing and outreach strategies to support fundraising efforts.
• Analyze fundraising performance data and provide regular reports to senior management on progress towards goals.
• Stay informed about fundraising best practices, trends, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to the overall strategic planning and financial sustainability of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.

• Proven expertise in major gift solicitation, grant writing, and donor stewardship.

• Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a data-driven approach to fundraising.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet ambitious targets in a remote work environment.
• Experience in the non-profit or education sector is highly desirable.
