About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising, with a significant portion in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic fundraising plans.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive writing and public speaking.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and fundraising software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Non-profit Management); CFRE certification is a significant asset.
• Understanding of the philanthropic landscape in Cape Town and the Western Cape.
