Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Fundraising Coordinator for a respected South African non-profit. You will build donor relationships, plan virtual campaigns, and secure funding from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners while working fully remotely from anywhere in South Africa, including George, Western Cape.

You will manage donor communications, write compelling proposals, analyze fundraising data, and collaborate with marketing to maximise impact for community programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fundraising.
• 3-5 years of non-profit fundraising experience with a track record of securing donations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute fundraising plans and campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with persuasive writing.
• Experience with fundraising CRM software and virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Plan and execute virtual fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals.
• Write compelling grant proposals, sponsorship requests, and donor communications.
• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM system and ensure timely acknowledgment of gifts.
