Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related safety field.
• 5+ years of experience in process safety engineering, especially in the chemical sector.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, risk assessment methodologies, and safety design principles.
• Experience with safety software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA PSM, Seveso Directive).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PHAs (HAZOP and LOPA) remotely.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Process Safety Management programs.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance on process safety during design and modification of chemical facilities.
• Develop and deliver virtual training modules on process safety topics to site personnel.
