Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and analytical Chemical Process Safety Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will evaluate process safety data, contribute to hazard identification, and support the implementation of safety protocols to maintain high safety standards across chemical operations.

This role collaborates with engineering and operations remotely, monitors regulatory changes, maintains safety documentation, and promotes a culture of proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in process safety, risk analysis, or related field.
• Familiarity with PSM principles and hazard identification techniques.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze process safety data, incident reports, and audit findings to identify trends and potential risks.
• Assist in conducting PHAs and risk assessments.
• Support development and implementation of process safety procedures and training materials.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain process safety documentation and databases.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams remotely to promote a strong safety culture.
