Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee preventive maintenance across a large vehicle fleet. You will plan schedules, coordinate servicing with service centers and internal teams, and maintain meticulous records in the fleet system.

This fully remote role emphasizes proactive planning, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet maintenance coordination or similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and the principles of fleet management.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for the entire fleet of vehicles.
• Coordinate and book vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections with approved third-party vendors and internal service teams.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, service history, costs, and vehicle statuses in the fleet management system.
• Monitor vehicle performance and identify trends or recurring issues to proactively address potential problems.
• Manage parts inventory for routine maintenance and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
