Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Fleet Dispatcher & Operations Planner to optimize our transportation network from anywhere. You will coordinate a fleet of vehicles, communicate with drivers, and manage timelines to meet delivery targets in a fully remote setup.

The role requires proactive planning, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively while driving efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dispatcher, Operations Planner, or similar in transportation/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software and route planning tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily dispatch activities for a fleet of vehicles.
• Develop and implement efficient route plans to minimize transit times and fuel consumption.
• Monitor driver progress and address delays or issues in real-time.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm delivery schedules and manage exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched operations, including driver logs and delivery confirmations.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
