O'Brien Recruitment is seeking a Frozen Imports and Exports Controller based in Hout Bay, Western Cape for a permanent on-site role. You will manage export compliance, regulatory approvals, and end-to-end logistics for frozen and dry goods, focusing on accuracy and regulatory adherence.

The role requires coordination with suppliers, shipping agents, and clients, plus experience with NRCS, permits, and documentation like BF60 and EUR1; Pastel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative track record in frozen and dry goods exports.
• Experience with international trade compliance and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in Pastel accounting software, costings, and forex file administration.

Responsibilities

• Confirm valid NRCS certificates and vessel licenses with 3rd-party owners.
• Verify export permits for rights holders with suppliers and ensure correct country names.
• Ensure 3rd-party rights holders are listed on export permits before application.
• Submit inspection requests to NRCS and track approvals.
• Prepare BF60, Trace Health certificates, EUR1 applications, catch certificates, and DFFE notices.
