Job summary
Ilaunch is seeking a Logistics Controller for an on-site role in the Helderberg Area, Western Cape. The incumbent will support the logistics operations team, handling end-to-end logistics from loading to final destination and coordinating with external service providers.
Ideal candidates have a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics, at least 3 years in a perishable/fruit industry, and strong English and Afrikaans communication.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within a perishable/fruit or similar industry.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Afrikaans.
Responsibilities
- Manage all logistics functions from loading to final destination.
- Update transport and shipping information to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor vessels and container movements.
- Coordinate information flows with external service providers.
- Generate reports on logistics operations.

- Responsible for managing all logistics functions from loading to final destination
- Manage and update transport and shipping information to internal stakeholders
- Monitor vessels and container movements
- Coordinator information flows with external service providers
- Reporting
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Minimum 3 Years experience in similar role, within a perishable/fruit or similar industry
- Advanced Computer Skills
- Excellent Communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Knowledge of any fruit related operational system
- Experience with perishable good export will be an advantage
