Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Majik Forest is seeking a Frontshop Assistant to uphold merchandising standards and support customer service at the point of sale. You will ensure shelves are stocked and prices are correct, handle cash and payments, assist with stock rotation, and deliver friendly, helpful service in line with Dis-Chem policies.

This role is suitable for applicants with Grade 12 and 0–6 months retail experience; advantageous if you have 1 year retail exposure or a Retail Business

Qualifications

• Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate is required.
• 0–6 months retail work experience is essential.
• 1 year retail experience is advantageous.
• Certification in Retail Business Management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full ranges of products are on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock and ensure products are not past sell-by date.
• Restock merchandise to maximize sales.
• Handle all payments (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.) according to procedures.
• Ensure shelves, pricing, and displays are accurate; report discrepancies.
