Job summary

HotelJobs is assisting a renowned coffee shop and restaurant in Midrand to recruit a Front of House Manager. You will oversee daily operations, POS handling, and stock control while upholding high service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a hospitable attitude, and excellence in English communication. You will coordinate with Marketing and ensure customer satisfaction, staff development, and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric Senior Certificate.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Experience in Food and Beverage management.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Resident in Midrand area and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct Front of House operations in line with company policies and procedures.
• Handle POS, daily cash-ups and involvement in stock control/purchasing.
• Ensure adherence to HSE rules and regulations.
• Staff training and development.
• Promotions and restaurant profitability in conjunction with the Marketing Department.
• Guest interaction, relationship building, complaint resolution.
• Maintenance of service levels and standards.
