Job summary

Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape, seeks a driven FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across departments. You will build financial models, monitor KPIs and provide insights to influence strategic decisions.

The role blends remote work with in-office collaboration in a hybrid setup. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in finance/accounting, 3–4 years FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and experience with SAP/Oracle and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• CIMA, ACCA or CFA is a strong advantage.
• 3–4 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting or related finance role.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and communication abilities.
• Hybrid work setup with time in Upington office and remote work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare monthly financial analyses with variance explanations and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain financial models for scenarios and long-term planning.
• Analyze results, identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support department managers in understanding financial performance and drivers.
• Prepare reports and presentations for executives and the board.
