Placements24 is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its strategic finance team in Randburg. You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial modelling, delivering insights to support strategic decisions and business performance. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and collaboration across departments.

You will work in a hybrid setup, engaging with SAP/Oracle ERP and FP&A tools, and report to senior management with clear dashboards and monthly close support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• A professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle) and FP&A software (Hyperion, Anaplan) a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads.
• Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and drivers.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and performance metrics to the business.
• Assist in monthly FP&A closing activities and data integrity checks.
• Identify process improvements to enhance planning and reporting cycles.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis for strategic insights.
• Monitor key financial KPIs and collaborate with departments on needs.
