Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a capable sales professional in Gauteng with 3–5 years in Home Meal Replacement or QSR sales. A Sales/Marketing Diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong customer relations and solid financial acumen.

You will plan territory calls, pursue new opportunities, analyse performance, negotiate orders, and coordinate pricing and promotional activities to hit monthly and quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years in a HMR and/or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sales environment.
• Sales or Marketing Diploma or equivalent.
• Manage and enhance good customer relations.
• Financial and business acumen.
• Trade execution of business plans.
• Analyse sales and financial information.
• Planning and organizing.
• Ability to drive sales volume achievement.

Responsibilities

• Achievement of Monthly and Quarterly Sales/Gross Profit Targets as set by Management.
• Customer Business Planning.
• Plan how to achieve sales targets for each customer within the range.
• Analyse sales performance by product and counteract opposition.
• Plan territory calls as per call cycle.
• Identify new business opportunities within territory and set objectives.
• Negotiate orders within approved parameters.
• Execute promotional activities.
• Initiate ad-hoc activities.
• Complete pricing surveys.
• Identify sales opportunities.
• Increase basket of products sold to customers.
• Sales Admin and Financial Control.
• Update customer records; manage debtors when necessary.
• Attend stock takes; prepare documentation for new accounts.
• Attend sales meetings, conferences and training.
