Job summary

Recruit for Africa PTY Limited is launching a flagship seafront dining concept in Mouille Point, Cape Town, and seeks a Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations during pre-opening and grand-launch phases. You will oversee service flow, guest engagement, and team leadership in a premium casual dining environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure seamless service, elevate the guest journey, and drive daily floor operations with a hands-on, energetic leadership style

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in Floor Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, premium dining environment.
• Experience in upmarket casual or premium dining settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations and service flow to ensure flawless dining experiences.
• Direct the front-of-house team, manage seating, pacing, and service standards.
• Engage guests to build warm, professional hospitality and repeat business.
• Oversee quality of presentation, hygiene, and station cleanliness.
• Support staff scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Assist with administrative duties including POS cash-ups and daily opening/closing procedures.
