Karen Tupper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead daily floor operations and guest experiences at our Soweto flagship store. You will supervise front-of-house staff, drive sales, and ensure consistent service standards in a fast-paced hospitality retail environment.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of retail and hospitality best practices. Afrikaans fluency and professional presentation are essential.

Formación

• Proven Floor Manager or senior FOH supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Able to supervise and develop front-of-house staff.
• Knowledge of stock control, cost management, and liquor regulations.
• Proficient with POS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily floor operations across all service periods to a high standard.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure warm, professional guest experiences at all times.
• Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and ensure teams are prepared.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor stock, manage requisitions, and support cost control.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation across service areas.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
