Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced Fleet Controller with strong Embrace knowledge and mechanical/technical expertise to manage the entire fleet. The role requires ensuring vehicle availability, timely COF and license renewals, and accurate reporting of fleet metrics.

You will lead site visits, coordinate workshop activities, and enforce safety and procedural standards. The ideal candidate has Matric, solid mechanical experience, and a track record in fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Matric is required
• Experience with fleet management software (Embrace) is essential
• Mechanical and technical experience is required
• Previous managerial experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain total fleet availability and perform site visits
• Book vehicles and ensure COFs and licenses are renewed on time
• Prepare daily fleet status reports and national utilization analyses
• Capture weekly kilometre readings and sign daily logbooks
• Vet workshop job cards for costs and manage spare key register
• Ensure adherence to company truck rental procedures and H&S requirements
• Handle fleet queries promptly and maintain high customer service levels
• Ensure vehicles are serviced on schedule and kept clean and well-maintained
• Maintain fleet audit lists and complete required monthly reports
• Ensure PPE compliance and staff adherence to processes
