Job summary

Apex Group in Cape Town seeks a Digital Finance UX Manager to enhance user experience across finance systems, tools and workflows. You will partner with Finance, Technology and Product teams to deliver intuitive, efficient solutions that drive high adoption.

Lead design of user journeys, conduct research, and translate business needs into user-centric outcomes. This role requires 5+ years in UX or related fields and strong knowledge of enterprise finance systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, UX Design, or a related discipline.
UX, Design Thinking, Agile, or Change Management certifications preferred.
5+ years' experience in UX, Digital Transformation, Product Design, Business Analysis, or Finance Transformation.

Responsibilities

Design and improve user journeys across finance processes including planning, reporting, accounting, and forecasting.
Conduct user research, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve usability.
Partner with Product Owners and Technology teams to translate business requirements into user-centric solutions.
Develop wireframes, process maps, and experience recommendations for finance platforms.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
Monitor system adoption, user satisfaction, and experience metrics, driving continuous improvements.
Establish UX standards and best practices across digital finance products.
