Apex Group in Cape Town seeks a Digital Finance Product Owner to define and drive digital finance products that improve financial processes, reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency. You will bridge Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable value and support the finance transformation program.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Product Management, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, Business Analysis, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or Product Owner certifications are advantageous.
• Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance processes including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Experience with ERP and finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics, Anaplan, or OneStream.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

The Digital Finance Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering digital finance solutions that enhance financial processes, reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency. Acting as the link between Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders, the role ensures finance products deliver measurable business value and support the organization’s finance transformation agenda.

Monitor product performance, user adoption, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement. Ensure solutions meet governance, risk, compliance, and financial control requirements.

Skills Required

• 5+ years' experience in Product Management, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, Business Analysis, or related disciplines.


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.


• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or Product Owner certifications are advantageous.


• Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification preferred
