Job summary

International Hotel School in Ballito is expanding and seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Administrator to join our growing team. You will manage creditors and debtors processes, ensure timely invoicing and reconciliations, and maintain accurate cash flows as part of our new campus operations.

The role requires a finance qualification, experience with Sage Intacct or similar systems, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• A finance qualification.
• Experience using SAGE Intacct or related accounting systems.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in a finance department.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creditors processing, including capturing supplier invoices and monthly recons.
• Load invoices on Intacct and track payment approvals to align with budgets.
• Process supplier credits and monthly supplier recons.
• Generate monthly supplier remittances and ensure accounts balance.
• Manage student registrations payments, verify payment plans and process debit orders.
• Maintain student accounts, respond to sponsor queries, and reconcile accounts.
• Produce weekly debtors reporting and manage overdue amounts.
• Process student refunds and liaise with sponsors.
