Job summary

Level Up - Your Talent Partner is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to promote a specialised propagation system, including machinery, paper and trays, across forestry, fruit, ornamental and vegetable sectors.

You will manage the full sales cycle, provide technical product support and training, and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers while travelling within Johannesburg and broader Southern Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience in sales, agribusiness, a technical discipline or related field.
• At least 3 years of horticulture experience if no degree.
• Strong technical sales experience presenting and selling technical solutions.
• Excellent customer service, relationship management and follow-up.
• Clear communication to explain technical concepts and proposals.
• Ability to train customers on product features and operation.
• Proven ability to work independently in the field and meet targets.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel in SA.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell a specialised propagation system with machinery, paper and trays.
• Identify and qualify new sales leads across multiple sectors.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations for prospects and customers.
• Prepare quotations and manage full sales cycle to closing.
• Provide ongoing customer support and respond to enquiries.
• Train customers on features, operation, and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Gather market and customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams.
• Independently manage the assigned sales territory and targets.
