Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in power generation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Good communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on power generation units.
• Install and commission new power generation equipment per specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections for longevity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on power generation units (e.g., generators, turbines).
• Install and commission new power generation equipment according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues encountered in the field.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment longevity and performance.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documenting work performed and recommending further actions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during site visits.
