Job summary

UNITEC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installation, testing and maintenance of automatic processing lines. The role involves extensive travel across South Africa and occasional international trips, with a focus on reliable, precise service and excellent customer communication.

You will be responsible for hands-on servicing, coordination with customers, and ensuring smooth operation of machinery in diverse environments. Training and ongoing support are provided by UNITEC.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience preferred.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to provide primary support and service onsite. You will also be responsible and in charge for the onsite installation, testing and maintenance of automatic processing lines. This role is suited to an adventurous spirit, as there will be a lot of travel in the country, including occasional international trips.

Job Requirements

• Mechanical experience and knowledge is preferred,
• Familiarity with related tools required (welding,..)
• Must be willing to travel with a flexible schedule,
• Valid driving license,
• Excellent communication and customer service skills,
• Reliability, flexibility and precision.
