Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment according to technical manuals and company procedures.
• Conduct routine diagnostic checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, explaining complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to elevate complex issues and share knowledge.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company quality standards.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring readiness for service calls.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role, preferably within the Gauteng region.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
