Placements24 in Klerksdorp is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair energy generation and distribution systems for a wide range of equipment.

You will be the primary technical contact for clients, perform preventative maintenance, handle emergency service calls, and ensure safety compliance while travelling within the North West region.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4/5 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related trade.
• At least 3 years experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in energy/industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic skills, and ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on energy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults promptly.
• Install, commission, and test new equipment per specifications.
