Job summary

Janine Hulme in Cape Town seeks a Service Technician for a permanent, on-site role. You will install, program and service laundry dosing equipment, dish machines and related systems across commercial sites while maintaining client relationships and delivering timely reports.

Requirements include Grade 12 with an Electrical qualification, 3+ years in electrical field, valid driver’s license, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Company car available; monthly CTC listed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with a technical qualification (Electrical).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Electrical field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Experience with electrical installations in laundry/dish equipment is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and problem-solve in field service.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, programming and maintenance of dosing equipment on laundry machines and commercial dishwashers.
• Build relationships with clients, provide after-hours support and ensure service reports are completed.
• Plan installations and maintenance in line with the tech calendar and client needs.
• Deliver training and ensure administrative tasks are closed out for clients.
