Job summary

Our client in the Western Cape requires a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair specialized equipment across customer sites. You will travel extensively, diagnosing faults and providing on-site technical support to ensure peak system performance.

The role demands hands-on electrical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with after-hours support when needed. Based in Cape Town, this position offers a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and electrical technical qualification are required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the electrical field.
• Valid driver’s licence is essential.
• Comfortable travelling extensively to different customer sites.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Install, program, repair and maintain electrical dosing equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform technical troubleshooting.
• Carry out planned maintenance and emergency call-outs.
