Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical equipment according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks and services on installed systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair faults in solar energy systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Respond promptly to service calls and customer requests, providing timely and effective solutions to technical issues.
• Complete detailed service reports, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent for accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Provide technical support and basic training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain a well‑organized inventory of tools and spare parts, ensuring readiness for service calls.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical installation/maintenance role, preferably within the renewable energy or electrical field.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar technology, and photovoltaic (PV) installations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
• Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record are essential for travel to various sites.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field‑based environment.
• Formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is preferred.
