Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent with 1–3 years electrical experience.
• 1–3 years maintenance experience using power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy: MS Office; MS Teams/Zoom.
• Presentable with excellent communication and coordinating skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate in a team.
• Able to work under pressure; methodical and analytical.
• Excellent spoken and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage chemical stock room: neat storage, proper rotation, and records of stock received.
• In-plant chemicals: monitor tanks and dosing pumps, report abnormalities, and perform repairs when possible.
• Ensure stock tanks have sufficient stock and transfer to holding tank; maintain good housekeeping and PPE practices.
• Record alkalinity and flow rates; perform daily/weekly checks and report deviations.
• Observe general quality of washed linen/garments and report issues promptly.
