Job summary

JVR Software in Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced field service technician to support industrial machinery at customer facilities. The role emphasizes maintenance, fault-finding and on-site repairs with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.

You will carry out commissioning, installation, routine servicing and train customers on operation procedures, while documenting activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on custom-built machinery and production equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong maintenance, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with machine installation and commissioning.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
