Tetra Pak in South Africa is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver high-quality on-site service, troubleshoot complex equipment, train operators, and support contract performance. You will help ensure uptime and strengthen customer relationships across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, fault analysis, and collaboration with customers to improve production efficiency, while adhering to safety standards and Tetra Pak procedures.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years’ experience in maintenance, service, or installation within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• N6/National Diploma or Trade Test in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Millwright, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Foundational mechanical, electrical, and basic automation knowledge, with exposure to industrial equipment installation and troubleshooting (PLC/drive systems advantageous).
• Commitment to health and safety standards; Food & Beverage industry experience beneficial but not mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Intermediate level of English (written and verbal)
• A proactive, customer-first mindset

Responsabilités

• Analyze technical issues and escalation when needed using standard operating processes
• Train customer operators and support production efficiency
