Job summary

Time Personnel in Cape Town is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive new business in office stationery and related sectors. You will meet prospects in-person, present solutions, and grow your prospect list, while earning through a base salary plus commission.

The ideal candidate shows a proactive, results-driven mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients; a valid SA driver's licence and own reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in the office stationery, office supplies or FMCG industry advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results-driven mindset.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Sales or related field highly advantageous.
• Valid South African driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literate with MS Office and intermediate Excel skills.
• Motivated by performance-based earnings and commission structure.

Responsibilities

• Meet prospects and leads in-person to establish and develop business relationships
• Provide internal sales with new business details to grow your prospect list
• Present current vs future state proposals, clearly identifying the customer's requirement
• Accurately and timeously complete and process all documentation and admin as specified
• Maintain and develop a high level of competitive product knowledge
• Work with the Sales Manager on your individual activity metrics to ensure minimum requirements are met to achieve your monthly target
• Maintain a professional approach and continuously look for ways to incrementally improve your sales process
