Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a dedicated Field Network Technician to support on-site installation, maintenance and repair of telecom network equipment at customer sites and company facilities in and around Tembisa.

You will troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues, read technical diagrams, and provide clear on-site customer support while traveling across a defined geographic area. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Technician or in a similar field service role.
• Strong knowledge of network cabling, installation, and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and manual dexterity for equipment handling.
