Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Germiston is seeking an experienced Sales Executive for a field-based B2B role. You will travel to customer sites, build relationships with decision-makers, and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years external B2B sales experience, a valid driver’s licence, and comfort with cold calling, negotiations, and meeting targets. Matric is required; industry experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Minimum 3 years' external B2B sales experience.
• Experience in Fuel, Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, Construction, Manufacturing or Agriculture is advantageous.
• Proven track record of winning new business and opening new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new commercial fuel customers.
• Cold call prospective clients and secure meetings.
• Visit customers daily and build strong, long-term relationships.
• Manage your own sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to account opening.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Work closely with management to achieve monthly sales and growth targets.
• Build and grow a profitable portfolio of commercial accounts.
