Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Germiston is seeking a Sales Executive to drive field-based B2B fuel sales. You will spend your days visiting businesses, meeting decision-makers and growing your own customer portfolio.

This role requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, with a target-driven approach and strong negotiation skills. You'll be out on the road rather than behind a desk, building relationships and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Minimum 3 years' external B2B sales experience.
• Experience in Fuel, Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, Construction, Manufacturing or Agriculture advantageous.
• Proven track record of winning new business and opening accounts.
• Comfortable visiting customers and spending most of the day on the road.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Target-driven and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new commercial fuel customers.
• Cold call prospective clients and secure meetings.
• Visit customers daily and build long-term relationships.
• Manage your sales pipeline from prospecting to account opening.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Work with management to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Grow a profitable portfolio of commercial accounts.
